When something goes wrong with your plumbing, you don’t need pressure, you need clarity. At Zest Plumbing & Drain, we diagnose the problem thoroughly, explain what’s happening, and provide clear repair and replacement options. From there, you decide what makes the most sense for your home and your budget.
Whether you need a trusted emergency plumber in Scottsdale, fast water heater repair, or help with a stubborn drain issue, our team responds quickly and gets to the root of the problem. Some situations call for a straightforward repair. Others make more sense as a long-term replacement. We walk you through both, no ultimatums, no surprises.
Drain and sewer issues are common in Arizona homes. We handle everything from routine drain cleaning to advanced main line drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, and full sewer line repair. Our goal isn’t just to clear a blockage, it’s to help you understand why it happened and what your options are moving forward.
Hidden leaks can cause serious damage if ignored. Our specialists provide accurate slab leak detection and repair and professional main water line repair and replacement, helping you choose between targeted repair or long-term solutions depending on the condition of your system.
For larger projects like gas line upgrades, whole house repipes, sewer replacements, or water heater upgrades, we outline multiple approaches so you can make an informed decision, whether that means a short-term fix or a permanent upgrade.
For nearly two decades, Scottsdale homeowners have trusted us because we treat their homes like our own: diagnose it properly, explain it honestly, provide options, and stand behind the work.
From water heater leaks and drain problems to slab leaks and full repipes, we don’t believe in ultimatums. We believe in informed decisions. You get clarity. You get options. You stay in control.
Zest Plumbing & Drain is owned by one person: Ron Degner, a plumber who graduated high school in Indiana in 1994 and had his head behind a toilet two days later as an apprentice. Not a franchise, not a private equity roll-up. The shop is on North 91st Street in Scottsdale, and the people who answer the phone and ring your doorbell live here too.
Most of what we do is the work a home actually needs: a precise slab leak repair, a new water softener, professional hydrojetting, or a tankless water heater installation when the old tank finally quits.
Ron was raised with four rules, and the company runs on them: treat everyone with respect, work hard, do the right thing, and when you make a mistake, own it and make it right. That is why there is no trip charge, why you get a written price before any work starts, and why we come back if something is not right.
Diana has answered the phone here for more than six years with the same smile every day. Our technicians are background-checked, drug-tested, and trained routinely on the equipment they install. Kids wave at our vans. We plan to be here for the next twenty years, not the next quarter.
Early one Monday morning we took a no-hot-water call in the Thunderbird East neighborhood near Kierland, in the 85254 ZIP. The homeowner woke up to a cold tank and needed it back fast. We diagnosed it to a failed upper thermostat on the electric water heater, replaced the thermostat, and while we had it open we pulled the elements to flush and clean years of sediment out of the tank. Hot water was back the same morning, with the full price quoted upfront and no trip charge to come take a look.
Handled by Wally, more than 20 years in the trade.
This is the kind of work we do across the Kierland area every week. See more about plumbing service in Kierland and 85254, or browse our recent projects.
Call, text, or book online in about a minute. Easy and convenient online booking available.
We come out and look at the problem. No trip charge, ever.
Your exact price is quoted in writing and approved by you before any work begins.
We complete the job in a timely manner with 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
